Date: Sat. Oct. 3, 2015 @ 1-4 pm
Location: Tupper Link
Theme: Shaping the Future through Partnerships
You are invited to the Global Health Open House on Saturday October 3, 2015 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm in the Tupper Link. This year’s theme is “Shaping the Future through Partnerships” and over the year, the Global Health Office aims to develop and strengthen partnerships both within, between and across institutions, sectors, disciplines and countries. Be part of the conversation as we examine ethical frameworks to guide partnerships and learn from each other.
This year we will be presenting the Open House in collaboration with the Dal Med GHI (Global Health Initiative) as part of the Global Health Living Library: Stories that Bind, A Living Library of Healthcare Experiences, which brings together a stronger voice of global health at Dalhousie. This event will provide opportunities to celebrate the many and varied partners at Dalhousie and in our communities. We will discuss community engagement, sustainability, reciprocity and the successes and challenges of our partnerships. Topics will include research initiatives and education programs in Global Health at Dalhousie University, and we invite students, faculty and the community to highlight their global health experience. Please plan to join us!
