Global health through your eyes
We are now accepting submissions for the 2016 global health photo contest.
Do you have outstanding photos that tell a compelling story about global health? Each year the global health office at Dalhousie hosts the Global Health Photo Contest to recognize these beautiful images and inspiring stories. This contest is open to all students, residents and faculty and staff at Dalhousie.
Global Health is all around us, there are many opportunities for inspiring images in our own backyard. Be creative! Think of everything that impacts the health of individuals and communities.
Ideas include, but are not limited to, the social determinants of health such as:
- Income and Income Distribution
- Education
- Unemployment and Job Security
- Employment and Working Conditions
- Early Childhood Development
- Food Insecurity
- Housing
- Social Exclusion
- Social Safety Network
- Health Services
- Aboriginal Status
- Gender
- Race
- Disability
