Join us Tuesday January 19th as Dalhousie University's Global Health Office and student group, Health Association of African Canadians (HAAC-SO), proudly present the award-winning documentary POVERTY INC. The screening will take place from 6PM-8PM in Theatre B of the Sir Charles Tupper Medical Building.
Synopsis: Fighting poverty is big business. But who profits the most? From TOMs Shoes to international adoptions, from solar panels to U.S. agricultural subsidies, POVERTY, INC. plays the gadfly in this eye-opening examination of Western interventions in the developing world.
