Our family doctors are making a difference
Research not only affects every aspect of our understanding of health and illness, it's also the foundation of an excellent health care system. That's why Dalhousie University’s Department of Family Medicine is so dedicated to supporting the efforts of family doctors who partake in research projects, both individually and collaboratively. After all, much of the evidence required in primary care can only be obtained through research involving primary care practitioners and their patients. The Dalhousie University research group projects have substantial diversity, from clinical to health services and across the lifespan.
As part of the growing local, national and international primary health-care research community, we welcome your interest and look forward to future collaborations.
