Halifax to host 2014 international motoneuron conference

The 9th International Motoneuron Meeting will take place from June 15 to 19, 2014, at Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. This meeting brings together scientists, clinician-investigators and students with a shared research focus on motor neuron diseases.

the 2014 conference organizers, Dr. Rob Brownstone and Dr. Jim Fawcett, were recently successful in their application to the Brain Repair Centre for the Scotiabank-BRC Research, Dissemination and Commercialization Grant. This grant, sponsored by Scotiabank, will help them organize the Halifax conference.

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke is a major sponsor of the 2014 International Motoneuron Meeting. For more information, visit the conference website.
