MEd in Curriculum Studies

A closer look at medical education

Whether you’re a physician, a nurse or a physiotherapist, you know that when it comes to education, health-related fields have their own specific challenges.

We’ve partnered with Acadia University’s School of Education to create our Master of Education in Curriculum Studies for Health Interprofessionals. It’s a new part-time program that gives you an education degree with a focus on medical and health professional education and the perspective you need to be an effective educator in a health-based curriculum.

What you’ll study

As a student, you’ll look at curriculum theory, design, delivery and assessment, plus you’ll build a firm grasp on areas that affect the curriculum, including:

  • organizational change
  • distributed education models
  • development of professional identity
  • educational research and innovation
  • assessment of learners and evaluation of programs
