Learn from your colleagues
As a medical professional, you frequently work as a part of a team. From nurses and pharmacists to occupational therapists and physiotherapists, each member of your team will have a different, specialized skill set to offer.
At Dalhousie, we believe that interprofessional collaboration should begin while you’re still in school. This early start not only gives you the experience you need to collaborate effectively and efficiently, it also gives you the opportunity to learn about the wide variety of people who work to enhance patient health.
For more information about interprofessional development in the Faculty of Medicine (specificallly in the undergraduate medical education program), please contact Dr. Stephen Miller, Assistant Dean, Clinical Skills.
