Attend and present at conferences
There are many possibilities for you to be funded to present your work (oral, poster, panel presentation) at conferences that blend arts with health. Have a look at these examples:
- Students presented at the Creating Spaces Symposium and the Canadian Conference on Medical Education (CCME) at various locations including St. John’s, Banff, Toronto, Québec City, and Ottawa.
- Vienna, Austria was the highlight for several DMNB students, who co-presented with faculty at the International Association for Medical Education Conference.
- Three Dalhousie medical students enjoyed the streets of San Francisco when they co-presented with several faculty at the Society of Arts and Health Conference.
- Every year, a robust delegation of Dalhousie students the health professions, health sciences and medicine attend the History of Medicine Conference in Calgary.
