Everything has to do with respect. Respecting animals, plants, people and life. Everything is connected - Richard Nuna.
This is a really beautiful film directed by multi-award winning former NFB Exec. Producer, Atlantic Region, Kent Martin. Produced by Trudy Sable and Richard Nuna. It provides an incredible first person perspective from a number of Innu community members on many issues, their culture, and their lands.
The was produced with the Innu Nation of Labrador as part of an international, SSHRC funded project--the Community Conservation Research Network - Saint Mary's University. Grand Chief of the Innu Nation of Labrador, Gregory Rich, will be attending and will be part of the discussion following the screening.
