Costa Apostolides, MD, CCFP, CoE
Dr. Costa Apostolides has been a member of the Division of Geriatric Medicine since 2003. He completed his MD and subsequently a residency in Family Medicine at Dalhousie University. In 2002, he obtained a Certificate in Health Care of the Elderly from the Department of Family Medicine and Division of Geriatric Medicine at Dalhousie University.
Dr. Apostolides’ primary clinical responsibility within the Division is at the Geriatric Day Hospital. He is also a member of the Department of Family Medicine. His other clinical work includes attending on the Progressive Care Unit on 9 Lane, and on the Cedarcrest Unit in the Camp Hill Veterans’ Memorial Building. He also provides patient care and is involved in teaching and supervising residents at the Dalhousie Family Medicine – Mumford clinic and at Maplestone Enhanced Care nursing home in Halifax.
