Dennis M. Bowie, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Dennis Bowie is a respirologist and associate professor of medicine who has a keen interest in medical education and research training in the mechanisms of dyspnea. Following five years in family practice, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Dalhousie, his residency in respiratory medicine at McMaster University, as well as fellowships in both internal medicine and respirology. Dr. Bowie is past president of the Canadian Thoracic Society and serves on various national committees of the society as well as on a number of advisory boards for pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Bowie now has an adjunct appointment and continues to do research in his field.
