Transplant Pathology

Supporting surgical success

Understanding why the body rejects transplants is critical to the successful treatment of a number of diseases and disorders. In the Department of Pathology, our researchers are dedicated to improving success rates—by uncovering the factors responsible for the late graft rejection of transplants and finding innovative ways to improve the quality of organs before they’re donated.
