We provide exceptional technology support to Dalhousie Medical School students, residents, faculty and administrators at over 100 sites across the Maritimes. Technology plays a large role in what you do. We continually monitor what's happening in the information technology world to improve the way our medical school community educates, conducts research and administers all of its programs across the Maritimes. Computing support
We provide support for your computers and mobile devices. Our staff is knowledgeable and is skilled to be able to offer assistance with current technology and it's part of our mandate to ensure that their skills reflect the current technological climate. Email medit@dal.ca for more information.
Instructional support
We provide coordinated multimedia support to over 120 instructional and meeting rooms in the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Professions in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Videoconferencing
We support immersive distributed learning and meeting spaces at Dalhousie Medicine campuses and hospital teaching sites in both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We also provide consultation and event planning assistance to assure that distributed events are using the most appropriate technology, software and tools available.
You will be supported by a dedicated team of videoconferencing specialists located in control rooms in Halifax and Saint John with the ability to provide remote assistance to all of Dalhousie Medicine’s videoconferencing sites. One45 (Academic scheduling, reporting and assessment)
We can answer your questions about the Faculty of Medicine’s One45 software suite and issues pertaining to:
scheduling of academic sessions, including lectures, labs, tutorials, and seminars, and all clinical placements
class/department contact lists and program handouts
program, faculty, and student/resident evaluation
low performance alerting for underperforming learners
tracking sick, vacation, and other time off for students and residents
reporting/export tools for enhanced data analysis of information collected by the system
