Do you know someone within Dalhousie Medical School who has demonstrated exemplary professionalism in her/his conduct as a clinician, instructor, faculty member, researcher, mentor, student or staff member?
If yes, then nominate them for a professionalism kudos!
The purpose of this initiative is to promote a culture of professionalism within Dalhousie Medical School by recognizing and praising the exemplary professional attitudes and behaviours displayed by those we work with everyday.
Professionalism, according to the medical school's professionalism policy, is demonstrated by individuals who show in their actions and interactions with others:
- respect for others
- honesty and integrity
- compassion and empathy
- duty and responsibility
To nominate a deserving individual, please send an email to Dr. Pam Forsythe, firstname.lastname@example.org, with the nominee’s name and position at the medical school. Your nomination should include a few sentences describing how this individual has demonstrated one or more aspects of professionalism.
Please ensure you have the permission of the person you are nominating before forwarding their name. Those who receive a kudos will be congratulated through DalMedix, on the medical school's website, and will also receive a letter of congratulations from the dean.
