      <description>Anxiety disorders affect as many as 20 per cent of people, yet for decades scientists have struggled to understand the biology that underpins them. Now, the largest genetic study of anxiety ever conducted, co led by Dalhousie University researchers, is providing the clearest picture yet of why some people are more vulnerable than others.</description>
