Medical School Community,

Excitement is growing for our year-long celebration, the 150th anniversary of Dalhousie's Medical School, in 2018. Now is the time to start the conversation and determine where departments can participate in our planning initiatives.

Department Signature Events

Each department is asked to identify at least one existing lecture or presentation as a 150^th Anniversary Signature event. If feasible, departments are asked to consider featuring a Dalhousie alumnae or someone with a special connection to Dalhousie at these department signature events.

150 Materials

All departments are asked to take advantage of our recently designed Med150 branding materials - the 150 word mark (anniversary logo), stationery and powerpoint template. You can order your own personalized Med150 branded items through Design Services online.

Hold The Date

Faculty of Medicine 150^th Gala: The Faculty of Medicine will be hosting a Gala Celebration on November 3, 2018 at the NovaCentre in Halifax.

Please hold the date in departmental calendars. This special event will be the culmination of the Faculty’s 150^th Anniversary festivities in 2018.
