Welcome to the Flow Cytometry CORE Facility

The Flow Cytometry Core Facility provides researchers with instrument platforms and services to assist with acquiring and sorting cells, which researchers have labelled target molecules inside the cell and on its surface with fluorescent probes.

Thanks to support from Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation’s Molly Appeal, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Canada Foundation for Innovation, and the Nova Scotia Research and Innovation Trust, Dalhousie Medical School operates seven flow cytometers.

These services and instruments are available to researchers at Dalhousie University, as well as external academic and non-academic users, on a fee-for-service basis. 

Hours of Operation

Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Staff are on hand to provide support and assistance during these hours.
