Research interests
The focus of research in my laboratory is the biology of adipocytes with respect to their development and relevance to normal physiology and disease. My laboratory has made several significant contributions in this area including the identification of chemerin as a protein that regulates adipocyte differentiation and systemic energy metabolism.
