Class Cups Recognition

Each fall, we proudly celebrate the impact of our medical alumni through the Class Cups recognition program. Class funds that reach significant fundraising milestones—$100K, $200K, $300K, $400K, and $500K, are honoured with a commemorative plate on the Class Cups.

These achievements are recognized and celebrated with the alumni community at our annual gala, and historically at the DMAA Alumni Recognition Awards. The Class Cups serve as a lasting tribute to the generosity and collective spirit of each class in supporting future generations of medical students.

At the November 7, 2025 Dal Med Gala, held at the Halifax Convention Centre, we were proud to honour five classes for reaching these important milestones. The MD Class of 1970 achieved the $200K Cup, while the MD Classes of 1969, 1971, 1985, and 1995 were each recognized with the $100K Cup.
