About
Lehmann Microcirculation Lab
Our lab focuses on using intravital microscopy to study a wide range of pathogenic illnesses, such as sepsis, uveitis and CNS injury. The main goal of our lab is to provide patients with therapeutic options through vigorous evidence-based research in our pre-clinical work.
We have several key research partners:
- PORT (Peri-Operative Research Team), Department of Anesthesia, Dalhousie University
- Canadian partner site for GECCO (German-Canadian Collaboration) Research Project on Microcirculation
- RESIST group (Research on Endocannabinoid System in Inflammation, Sepsis and Trauma)
- MiDAS Clinical Research Group (Microcirculation Diagnostics and Applied Studies) - see also International MiDAS Microcirculation Meeting (“3M”)
