Jamil Muradov and Alienor Jamet, recipients of the 2023 award
The McNee prize is awarded annually to graduate students who, in the opinion of the departmental Graduate Studies Committee, demonstrate the strongest combined record of academic excellence, research accomplishment, and the ability to describe their thesis research succinctly.
The award is supported by an endowment established by generous donations from Mrs. Anna McNee of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia in memory of her husband, Dr. Sidney McNee and sister, Ms. Jeannette Lindsay McNeil. The first award was given in the 2005-2006 academic year.
This year the award was presented to two graduate students at the annual Department Blitz.
