Madeleine de Lotbinière-Bassett, MD, MS, FRCSC

Dr. Madeleine de Lotbinière-Bassett completed undergraduate medicine at the University of British Columbia and a postgraduate, Master of Science in Engineering degree from Stanford University, before neurosurgical training at the University of Calgary. Most recently, she completed a skull base and cerebrovascular fellowship at the University of Utah, which will become her neurosurgical focus. Her research experience and ongoing interests include: surgical robotics with aerospace applications, brain-computer interface technology, virtual reality platform development for medical education, neuroethics and more generally, user-centered technology design.
