Dr. Nadim Joukhadar is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Health. He completed his medical degree at Dalhousie University before undertaking residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Dalhousie, followed by fellowship training in microsurgery, breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and gender-affirming surgery. He simultaneously completed his Masters of Education through the University of Toronto. His practice encompasses the full breadth of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a particular focus on gender-affirming chest surgery, body contouring, and general reconstructive surgery. Dr. Joukhadar is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate surgical education. His academic interests include advancing access to gender-affirming care, surgical education, and clinical outcomes research within reconstructive plastic surgery.
