 Clinical interests

Dr. Krauss is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon, with a practice focus on Hand, Wrist, and complex Nerve Reconstruction in addition to general plastic surgery.

Dr. Krauss is widely considered a national expert in the area of nerve transfer surgery for peripheral nerve injuries and spinal cord injuries, having given numerous invited presentations for this topic. 

Additionally, she pioneered several surgical techniques in nerve transfers for spinal cord injury and for the treatment of spasticity for patients with neurological disorders including spinal cord injury and stroke.

Dr. Krauss’s research interests include patient outcomes following peripheral nerve surgeries such as nerve transfer, nerve grafting and repair
