Background
Landan is a graduate from the New Brunswick campus of Dalhousie Medical School. He grew up in Saint John, NB and moved to Halifax for his undergrad degree. He finished a degree in physics at Dalhousie University in 2013 and moved to Colorado soon after to complete his Masters in Atmospheric Science. He was part of a team that studied atmospheric emissions from natural gas fracking sites. Although he loved where he was living and what he was studying, he couldn’t stop the feeling that his life was missing something, so he threw in some applications to medical school and the rest is history. The nature of his studies before medical school meant that he spent a lot of his time programming and as a result many of his interests revolve around electronics, especially collecting vintage electronics. Landan also enjoys travelling; his favourite location so far has been Latvia. His dream trip is to visit Russia and the Ukraine.
