Research

Dalhousie medical researchers are committed to solving serious health challenges impacting people in Nova Scotia, the Maritime Provinces and beyond. Master of Physician Assistant Studies students will have opportunities to work with international leaders in health research and engage in their own original research.

Through research projects, seminars, and faculty collaborations, MPAS students have the chance to explore their research interests and make meaningful contributions to the PA profession and health human resources. Research and scholarly activities are carefully integrated into the MPAS curriculum. The longitudinal Research in Medicine seminar course equips students with research methodologies and critical appraisal skills.
