Residency training is preceded by a half-day Dalhousie Postgraduate Orientation for new trainees in Halifax. For all international medical graduates and Visa trainees, there is a special orientation-introduction to the Canadian Health Care System that is held over one week starting mid June and attendance is expected. Clinical training begins at 8:00 a.m. on July 1st.
