Biography

Past interest and experience include contribution and commitment to post graduate training, program conception and management as well as organization of hospital based academic and scientific activities as follows:

  • Program Director of the Arab Board and Saudi Board Pediatric Residency Training Program in the Suleimania Children’s Hospital (SCH), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. SCH is the pediatric teaching hospital affiliated with King Khalid University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • Organizer of hospital based academic and scientific activities of SCH from 1990 to 1997
  • Member of the Central Examination Committee of the Arab and Saudi Board training program in pediatrics in Saudi Arabia
  • Member of the Pediatric Program Directors Committee of the Saudi Council of Health Specialties of the Central Province (Riyadh), Saudi Arabia

Currently involved with teaching and training of medical students and pediatric and non-pediatric residents placed in IWK Health Centre and Dalhousie University.
