Biography

Past experience and interest includes working as a consultant pediatrician and a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics in a university-affiliated pediatric teaching hospital. In that capacity, was actively involved with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities including acting as coordinator of undergraduate medical training for the medical students from King Khalid University Hospital, Riyadh, rotating for their pediatric training.

• Teacher of the Year 2013: for excellence in undergraduate teaching presented by Undergraduate Medical Education, Dalhousie University and IWK health Centre
