  • novel biodegradable drug-eluting nanoparticles for the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis
  • development of microparticles-hydrogels for sustained release of corticosteroids in the paranasal sinuses

Research interests

Professor Massoud’s research interests include quality of life and treatment outcomes in chronic sinusitis and endoscopic management of skull base lesions as well as development of novel modalities in the treatment of chronic sinusitis. He has interdisciplinary research collaboration with colleagues in both clinical and basic sciences.
