Alumni
Taking their knowledge all over the world
Our lab has a range of alumni from a wide variety of backgrounds, with engineering and clinical backgrounds being the most prevalent. We have fellows in our otology program who have come from all over the world to spend a year in our program. We also have master’s and PhD students, postdocs and summer students.
Some of our alumni have gone on to work in the hearing and vestibular disorders implants industry (e.g., Osama Majdalwieh with Cochlear Corp and Ross Deas with MEDEL Inc.), and others have gone on to work in other ear research labs.
All have carried forward a strong appreciation of the interaction of engineering and clinical anatomy and physiology in the diagnosis and treatment of ear disorders, which is the unique strength in our laboratories.
