Dr. Ory grew up in Victoria, BC and moved to Halifax in 2015 to pursue his residency in Urology. After completing his residency, he went to the University of Miami for a one year fellowship in infertility and andrology, while also working with the endocurology team to develop skills in laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP and ThuLEP). He joined the Department of Urology at Dalhousie in 2021. He is passionate about surgical education and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. His academic interests focus around testosterone therapy, varicocele repair, and fertility preservation. Dr. Ory also works with the team at Atlantic Assisted Reproductive Therapies, providing male fertility services for patients in the Maritimes, including vasectomy reversals and microTESE.
