Biography

Dr. Whalen grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He completed a Bachelor of Science at McGill University prior to returning to Halifax for medical school and urology residency training at Dalhousie. Dr. Whalen joined the Department of Urology at Dalhousie after completing a fellowship in functional and reconstructive urology in Melbourne, Australia. He practices all aspects of general urology with subspecialty expertise in male and female incontinence, sacral neuromodulation, urologic prostheses and urologic care of patients with spinal cord injury.
