Background

Hello everyone!

I was born and raised an Islander in the big city of Kengsington, PEI.  After gruaduating high school, I was lucky enough to spend a few years living in Halifax studying philosophy before coming to the realization that my life required a bit more direction.  Following this, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Memorial Univeristy of Newfoundland.  I was fortunate enough to work with several Dalhousie Urology alumni who piqued my interest in both urology as a specialty and the training program in Halifax.  I'm thrilled to be able to cointinue my training on the East Coast with Dalhousie Urology.

Outside of medicine, there is a decent chance you will find me in the gym.  I also enjoy reading, playing guitar, traveling, and more recently, snowboarding.

For me, doing the national CaRMS elective tour and spending two weeks with Dal Urology confirmed my suspicions that Dal woudl be an unparalleled place to train, close to home, with an amazing team and excellent surgical exposure.
