Dr. J. Santiago Rubio

Hi everyone! My name is Santiago and I am from Argentina. I obtained my medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina in 2011. I completed General Surgery residency at Hospital Militar Campo de Mayo from 2011 to 2015. I was Chief Resident at Hospital Bernardino Rivadavia in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I then completed a Multiorgan Transplant Fellowship at Hospital Universitario Fundación Favaloro between 2016 and 2019. I like doing research and teaching. I joined Dalhousie’s Urology Department to perform a Kidney Transplant Fellowship to obtain new skills and knowledge.  
I came to Canada with my wife Candela, my son Juan Segundo and my 2 lazy dogs: Cristobal and Coco. We are very happy in Nova Scotia, enjoying a lovely new city and meeting wonderful people.
