I was born, raised, and educated in Calgary Alberta and made the move to Halifax for residency after having such a wonderful experience during my elective last year! After my undergraduate degree at Mount Royal University in Calgary I gained employment at the prostate cancer centre in the research department. This position inspired me to pursue my graduate studies and medical school in association with Leaders in Medicine at the University of Calgary. My PhD focus was on the role and regulation of proteinase activated receptors in urothelial carcinoma. Outside of residency I can be found doing one of my numerous craft and art-focussed hobbies, playing video games, and spending quality time with my husband, our dog and cat, and friends. I am absolutely thrilled to explore what the east coast has to offer and to continue my education at Dalhousie with the  incredible Urology team here in Halifax!
