Charlottetown & Summerside

Prince Edward Island is one site that is made up of both urban and rural communities. The largest and most centralized of these is the city of Charlottetown, our provincial capital.

Charlottetown

Canada’s home of confederation would make a wonderful a home for any aspiring doctor. This tiny province offers as distinct a landscape and culture as you’d expect of an island. Connected to mainland New Brunswick by the Confederation bridge, and to Nova Scotia by ferry, PEI features gorgeous beaches, fertile farmland, and charming urban communities. With affordable homes, many oceanfront, and a vibrant culture, you’ll fall in love with this little bit of Canadian paradise.

Our capital city, Charlottetown, might be small, but it’s bursting with big energy and Island hospitality. This seaside city is a historical hub of culture, festivals and events, artisan shops, world-class restaurants and so much more. It is an incredibly vibrant seaside city best explored by foot, taking in all the hidden gems.

Summerside

The province’s second largest community Summerside is a city filled with culinary, cultural and coastal experiences. Discover the energy of Island Celtic roots, stroll the city streets or watch the horses dash to the finish line.

Summerside’s intercity beach, Green’s Shore Park, is an ideal place for getting your fill of seaside adventures. Come discover kayaking, beach volleyball, windsurfing, kiteboarding, sandcastle building, or catching up on your summer reads, all within walking distance to our downtown core.
