Department Strategic Plan 2026‑2031

The Department of Community Health & Epidemiology’s Strategic Plan (2026–2031) sets out a shared vision for the years ahead—grounded in our strengths as a research-intensive, system-connected department and shaped through consultation with faculty, staff, learners, and partners.
Aligning with the Faculty of Medicine’s strategic plan, our plan provides a clear framework to guide our work across research, education, serving and engaging society, and valuing people, while reinforcing our commitment to advancing health equity and improving population health locally, regionally, and beyond.
Developed during a period of renewal and momentum, the strategy builds on what we do best while positioning the department to respond thoughtfully to emerging opportunities and challenges in health systems, policy, and practice. It reflects both our collective ambitions and the collaborative spirit that defines CH&E.
