Division of Anatomy
Supporting our programs
Faculty and staff members within Dalhousie’s Department of Medical Neuroscience are involved in scholarly activity, teach anatomy and support the programs that make hands-on anatomy courses possible. Together, these dedicated individuals make up the Division of Anatomy.
Anatomy education programs
Faculty members teach macroscopic ("gross") and microscopic anatomy, embryology and neuroanatomy to medical, dental, health professional, graduate and undergraduate students.

Scholarly activities
Members of this division are involved in the Programme for Anatomical Terminology (FIPAT) of the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA). The Division also supports the development of a new FIPAT website, the future home of the international standard terminologies of human anatomy, that is hosted by the Dalhousie University Libraries.
