Biography:

Dr. Gregory is a Assistant Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie University, and one of the newer additions to the Division of General Internal Medicine, within the Department of Medicine. He is originally from St. Philips, Newfoundland and Labrador and pursued his undergraduate degree through Memorial University in Biochemistry. He then went on to complete medical school at Memorial University, serving as the Medical Student Society President (2016-2017) and Class President of the Class of 2019 (2017-2019).

He completed Core Internal Medicine Residency at Dalhousie University, serving as the Co-Lead Resident (2021). He completed his General Internal Medicine Residency at Memorial University (2022-2024), acting as well as the Lead Resident during his PGY5 year. Throughout residency he was significantly involved in medical education, and resident advocacy through Resident Doctors of Canada, as well as through being a member of the board of the Canadian Residency Matching Service (CaRMS).

Dr. Gregory was appointed to the role of Simulation Director for the Department of Medicine in July 2025. He also serves on multiple Department of Medicine Committees including the Education, EDIRA, Simulation, and POCUS Committees. He was awarded the Stephen Coubin Outstanding Faculty Award in 2025, as well as the Academic Advisor of the Year Award. In addition, Dr. Gregory is the co-host and co-founder of the Clinical Currents Podcast, a new Continuing Professional Development Initiative of the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Gregory’s research interests are predominantly in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, as well as Medical Education.
