Selection criteria

We select top candidates based on:

• academic excellence
• clinical skills
• interpersonal skills
• other attributes such as research experience and extracurricular activities

Selection policy

We accept only those candidates who have completed at least three years of internal medicine residency training in a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited program.

How to apply

If you’re interested in infectious diseases subspecialty training at Dalhousie simply apply through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS).
