Funding and Awards

Financing your future

Finding full funding is critical to your acceptance into the Physiology and Biophysics graduate program. Your funding may come from a supervisor’s grant, an individual scholarship or a combination of both. Without full funding, we can’t accept you.

The full funding period is up to two years for MSc students and up to four years for PhD students. This is dependant upon annual written evidence of satisfactory progress, plus the availability of research funding support from the supervisor.

Please note: Income from teaching assistantships cannot be used towards full funding.

Please note that this is an average value and depends upon a variety of factors. Students are advised to have discussions regarding financial support directly with their proposed supervisor prior to joining the program. Please note that students cannot be self-funded.
