Facilities & Equipment
Practical experience
The Division of General Surgery is based out of the two Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre hospital sites: The Victoria General (VG) site and the Halifax Infirmary site.
Our operating room and beds allow us to provide care to emergency room patients at the Halifax Infirmary, while most teaching takes place at the VG. The VG also offers experience in:
- elective surgery
- outpatient clinics
- G.I. endoscopy
