An internationally known name in neuroscience came to Halifax in July of this year: Dr. Alon Friedman. The William Dennis Chair in Epilepsy Research at Dalhousie University, Dr. Friedman is one of the medical school’s top recruits for epilepsy research in Maritime Canada.

Dr. David Anderson, currently head and district chief of the Department of Medicine at Dalhousie, will become Dalhousie Medical School's 13th dean on July 1, 2015.
