I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Saleem Razack as Dean of Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine for a five-year term starting September 1, 2026.

It was in Oxford’s historic halls that first year medical student, Sierra Sparks discovered her true passion was medicine. She applied and was accepted to Dalhousie Medicine through the Black Learners Admissions Pathway (BLAP).

One of Canada’s highest awards of honour has some familiar Dal faces among its latest batch of appointees.
