Welcome Margaret Garnier‑Liot

Welcome Margaret Garnier-Liot as the newest member of our PG team, joining us as postgraduate director, on Monday, May 13th.

Margaret comes to us from the Department of Diagnostic Radiology where she was the education lead for over a decade.

Amongst other duties, in this role, Margaret oversaw the strategic and administrative components of various programs, from undergraduate to postgraduate curricula and specialized fellowships. 

Prior to her time in Radiology, she was an education coordinator with Family Medicine for five years and spent a year with Emergency Medicine. She also has an interest in adult and medical education research, completing a Master of Education in Lifelong Learning in 2014, participating in and presenting Medical Education research at conferences, and is a PhD candidate in educational studies. Margaret’s dissertation research focuses on the resident experience in competence by design programs.

Her wealth of experience and dedication to education will make her a valuable addition to our team.
