Investigating the spectrum of neurological conditions and disorders

Researchers in the Division of Neurology advance the prevention, detection and treatment of major neurological conditions and disorders.

Research programs

Division members have expertise in clinical trials and epidemiology. Our location in the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre – the tertiary care hospital for the Maritime provinces – provides access to a patient population of approximately 1 million for clinical trials and epidemiologic studies.

The Division of Neurology research efforts are supported by strong research infrastructure in the Department of Medicine, as well as at Dalhousie University and Capital Health.

Research keeps us on the leading edge of medical care and ensures a stimulating, vibrant and rewarding environment that attracts gifted faculty, residents, students, collaborators, resources and funding.
