Biography

Dr. Ashley Stueck (she/her) is an Associate Professor at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS and an Anatomical (Diagnostic & Molecular) Pathologist specializing in Hepatobiliary & Gastrointestinal pathology at Nova Scotia Health. She is the director of the Liver & GI Pathology Fellowship and Head of Autopsy.

Dr. Stueck has a large liver pathology consultation practice, enjoys teaching a wide variety of students, and focuses on liver-related research. She is enthusiastic about teaching liver pathology to the next generation and trying to convince people that the liver is the best organ.

She is a member of CASL, AASLD, USCAP, CAP-ACP, the Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society, Laennec Liver Pathology Society, and the International Liver Pathology Study Group ("ELVES"). Dr. Stueck hosted the Laennec Liver Pathology Society’s annual meeting in 2018 and the ELVES in 2024.

Dr Stueck teaches PGME, UGME, and PATH 2115 & 3000 at Dalhousie University.
