Biography

Dr. Karen Bedard is an associate professor in the Department of Pathology at Dalhousie University studying functional aspects of genetic polymorphisms and mutations. Dr. Bedard completed her PhD in Pharmacology at the Atlantic Veterinary College, and postdoctoral studies at the University of Alberta and at the University of Geneva, in the field of endoplasmic reticulum stress, oxidative stress and NADPH oxidase.
