Serving and Engaging Society

Director: Dr. Keri-Leigh Cassidy

Serving and Engaging Society is a strategic direction in the Department of Psychiatry 2026-2031 Strategic Plan. A Serving and Engaging Society Committee supports this work. The committee develops and implements a Serving and Engaging Society strategy to achieve the goal of closing gaps in serving equity-denied groups and becoming a more trusted partner to community. Its membership includes representatives from different department groups and committees, including Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Reconciliation and Accessibility (EDIRA) and Wellness, as well as community partner organizations, and lived experience representatives.
